‘What if I’m not lying?’: Soldier claims no memory of killing wife
They had the weapons, they had the location and they had the perp: Warrant Officer Howard Richmond in the South Keys parking lot with the bloody folding knife and screwdriver.
But try as they might a team of cops couldn’t get Richmond to confess to the killing of Melissa Richmond on July 25, 2015.
“Both of us in this room know you’re guilty,” OPP Det. Const. Michael Redmond snarled during Richmond’s six-hour Aug. 2, 2015 interrogation.
“We know you killed Melissa. What we don’t know is why.”
