‘Ottawa’ Man, 29, Stabbed Early Thursday in City’s South End
A 29-year-old man suffered at least one serious stab wound in a home in the Blossom Park neighbourhood before dawn Thursday.
Police say they were called to a home near 3200 Stockton Drive at about 3:20 a.m., and arrived to find the man in serious condition, while the person who stabbed him had been chased away from the home.
The man’s condition stabilized in hospital, police said.
So far there are no arrests and police said it’s too early to name a suspect.
They couldn’t immediately say how many times the man was stabbed, or why the attack happened.
Stockton Drive is a short residential street between Bank Street and Albion Road.
