Woman in ‘Serious’ Condition after west-end Crash
A 56-year-old woman is in serious but stable condition after being freed from her crumpled car which crashed in the west end Tuesday morning.
Firefighters arriving on the scene at Robertson Road east of Moodie Drive found the driver trapped in her vehicle.
They used their specialized extrication equipment to free her from the wreckage by about 9:32 a.m.
Paramedics said the victim was immobilized for a spinal-cord injury and transported to hospital.
