‘Ottawa’ Drivers Escape Serious Injury in Two Dramatic Crashes Saturday

A 48-year-old man was shaken up but not injured when the car he was driving hit a curb and flipped in Manotick Saturday morning.

The crash occurred at Highcroft Drive and Manotick Main Street at about 10:30 a.m.

Paramedics assessed the victim at the scene and determined he had no injuries.

A few hours later, a woman suffered what police described as minor injuries when a van left Carp Road near March Road and flipped into a field.

Paramedics said the victim, 34, suffered a suspect concussion and possible spinal injuries in the crash but was not in serious condition on transport to hospital.
