Bombers receiver Clarence Denmark not letting recent struggles get to him
Are the Bombers not winning because Clarence Denmark isn’t producing?
Or is Denmark not producing because the Bombers aren’t winning?
It’s probably a little from column A and a little from column B, but the bottom line is his recent struggles aren’t getting to the Jacksonville, Fla., product.
“I’m not even really paying attention to that stuff,” Denmark said Wednesday as he rested comfortably in the passenger seat of a Kubota utility vehicle. “I can’t let that stuff bother me, because we still have a good little bit of the season left.”
Denmark might not want to see the ugly numbers, but they’re there for the whole CFL to see. The man who had the second most receiving yards in the CFL last season has mustered just 69 in his last four outings. He is 21st in league receiving with 337 yards in eight games. He is tied with Hamilton’s Luke Tasker, who has played only four contests this season.
