Ticats have no time to savour Labour Day win
In just about any other profession, short work weeks aren’t just celebrated, they are savoured.
Professional football is the exception.
The Ticats, despite a ridiculously efficient win over the the Argos on Monday, didn’t have time to do much celebrating. As for savouring, well, that’s not an option when you have only one full practice and a walk- through to get ready for before you hit the gridiron again.
That was the case for the both the Argos and Ticats, who clash for the second time in a five-day span on Friday night at the Rogers Centre.
Both teams are making all kinds of alterations to the normal game-day preparations and it started immediately following Monday’s game, which ended approximately 233 hours before the next one was to begin.
Normally, Justin Hickman would relish a win such as Monday’s by knocking back a frosty beverage or two.
