Dunn expected to help RedBlacks clinch
Really, the math is quite simple for the Ottawa RedBlacks. Win and they’re in.
A win over the Winnipeg Blue Bombers Friday night at TD Place (with three games still remaining on their regular-season schedule) will secure a playoff berth for the RedBlacks, the first time an Ottawa CFL franchise has been in the post-season since 1994.
It won’t exactly be mission accomplished — the RedBlacks have a higher goal than just getting into the playoffs — but still, it’s step one.
“It’s one step at a time,” said RedBlacks coach Rick Campbell. “Our first stated goal was to find a way to get into the playoffs and we have an opportunity to do that. Regardless of what happens, who else wins or who else loses, we know we need to win as many games as we can to put ourselves in the best position.”
While there won’t be a lot of lineup changes from a week ago when the RedBlacks played the Toronto Argos, there is at least one major move.
