‘Ottawa’ Ottawa Redblacks, B.C. Lions Both Looking to Bounce Back
That stinker against the Montreal Alouettes is still fresh in the minds of Ottawa Redblacks players and coaches, so there’s no need to remind them it would be a good idea to play better against the visiting B.C. Lions on Thursday night.
Still, it couldn’t hurt.
“It probably looked pretty bad from a reporter’s point of view and from a fan’s point of view,” Redblacks safety Jermaine Robinson said about last Friday’s 43-19 loss to the Alouettes. “We just let down. It was a total letdown.
“We weren’t running to the ball, we weren’t tackling, we just weren’t doing what we usually do. But the thing about this group is we know that. We knew it going on through the whole game. We still had opportunities to get ourselves back in the game, but we just didn’t execute.”
