‘Ottawa’ Snow Down, not so Fast — another Dump is on its Way
Just when you thought you might be able to put up the feet and relax, Environment Canada issued a special weather statement predicting as much as 15 to 20 more centimetres of snow beginning Tuesday night and lasting into Wednesday.
The statement, issued at 9:21 p.m. Monday covers Ottawa and counties to the east.
Some residents were still digging out from Sunday’s 28-cm-plus dump.
The weather agency said conditions were not expected to reach snowfall “warning” criteria of 15 cm within 12 hours. Small comfort.
