‘Ottawa’ One Hurt, One in Cuffs in Pair of Overnight Shooting Incidents
Police are appealing for help locating a suspect after a man was wounded in one of two overnight shooting incidents.
Police were called by hospital staff early Thursday after a 28-year-old man turned up with a gunshot wound.
His injuries aren’t life-threatening. The initial information is that he was shot on Prince Albert Street in Overbrook at about 1 a.m.

The second incident of shots fired occurred on Augusta Street between Beausoleil Drive and Rideau Street in Lowertown just before 2 a.m.
There were no reports of injuries and one person is in custody related to that incident.
Investigations continue in both incidents.
