Ottawa’s Italian community unveils plaque to honour Cpl. Nathan Cirillo
Members of Ottawa’s Italian-Canadian community gathered at Piazza Dante on Sunday afternoon to lay wreaths and unveil a plaque to honour the memory of Cpl. Nathan Cirillo.
It was one year ago this week that 24-year-old Cirillo was shot and killed by Michael Zehaf-Bibeau while standing guard at the National War Memorial.
