Brampton truck driver charged in death of Kingston motorcyclist
Ontario Provincial Police have charged the driver of a tractor-trailer involved in a collision in May that killed a Kingston, Ont., motorcyclist.
The driver, a 33-year-old man from Brampton, Ont., was charged with dangerous driving causing death, police said Thursday.

On May 30, three motorcyclists and an SUV were heading north around a curve on Perth Road near Buck Lake, in the township of South Frontenac, when a tractor-trailer crossed the centre line.

Two of the motorcyclists managed to avoid the truck, but a third motorcycle driven by 30-year-old Ryan New was struck.
New was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The tractor-trailer also struck the SUV, causing it to roll on its side. Three people in the vehicle suffered minor injuries in the collision.
The driver was scheduled to appear in Kingston court Thursday.
