Police Break up South-End Brawl Sunday
Police were called to the Bank Street and Heron Road area Sunday afternoon to what was initially reported as a road-rage incident but turned into a brawl capping a dispute between young men armed with baseball bats.
Four people known to police were arrested. No one was seriously hurt.
Police were called at about 4:10 p.m. to the intersection of Bank Street and Portland Avenue near a Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant by the report of several vehicles blocking traffic and a fight involving numerous males underway.
Some of them drove off, turning up at the parking lot of a Tim Hortons at Walkley and Conroy roads.
The investigation was continuing.
