‘Ottawa’ Ottawa Man Charged for Allegedly Assaulting Young Boy
A 54-year-old Ottawa man faces charges for allegedly sexually assaulting a young boy inside a home on Tuesday.
Officers responded to a 911 call from a home in central Ottawa, where they found a boy under the age of 10 had been sexually assaulted, police said.
The man was arrested at the scene and charged with one count of sexual assault and one count of sexual interference.
He appeared in court Wednesday.
Police say they’re concerned there could be other victims. The suspect also lived in the Casselman, Wendover, Hawkesbury and Curran areas, police said.
Officers are still trying to speak with any witnesses.
