‘Ottawa’ Orleans Fire Destroys Row Houses
Ottawa firefighters are battling a two-alarm blaze that torched a line of multi-unit row houses Saturday in Orléans.
The fire on Melette Crescent began late Saturday afternoon. Fire prevention and investigations officer Marc Messier tweeted at 5 p.m. that firefighters were beginning “salvage operations” in unaffected units, but that the fire was still in progress.
