A 38-year-old man was brought to hospital after he was stabbed on Besserer Street near the Ottawa Mission around 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Ottawa police Sgt. John Gibbons said.
The victim was transported to the trauma centre after suffering a stab wound to one of his legs, Ottawa paramedics superintendent Matthew Galarneau said.
The man was “in moderate distress, conscious and alert,” when he arrived at the hospital, Galarneau said.
