‘Ottawa’ OPP Hunting Armed Robber of Limoges Credit Union
A man armed with what looked like a handgun fled on foot after robbing a credit union in Limoges Wednesday.
The man, his face covered, went into the Caisse Populaire Trillium, about 45 kilometres east of Ottawa, at about 5:45 p.m and demanded cash. Staff complied and were not hurt. There were no customers in the institution at the time.
The suspect was described as five feet nine inches to five feet 10 inches tall, and thin at 160 to 170 lbs.
He had covered his face with a hood and scarf and was wearing black-framed glasses, a black jacket, black or blue pants, a blue hat and a backpack.
He spoke English with an unidentified accent.
Anyone who can help police with the suspect’s identity or whereabouts is asked to contact Det.-Const. Anthony Donnelly at email@example.com or 613-446-5124. Or they can reach Crimestoppers at 800-222-8477.
