‘Ottawa’ Firefighters battle early-morning House Fire in Kanata
Firefighters were battling flames and heavy smoke conditions Sunday after a fire broke out in a Kanata home in the early hours.
Ottawa Fire received multiple 911 calls beginning at 12:47 a.m., reporting the back of a house at 79 Black Tern Crescent was on fire.
All of the occupants were able to escape safely.
When firefighters arrived, they began an “aggressive interior and exterior attack.”
Crews were working to control the fire Sunday morning.
No injuries were reported, and the cause is not known.
