‘Ottawa’ Police Find Meth in Car After Pembroke Crash
A Pembroke man will appear in court Tuesday charged with drug possession and impaired driving after crashing his car into a utility pole.
The Ontario Provincial Police said that, on Feb. 4, they responded to an 8 a.m. crash on Pembroke Street West and found that a car had left the road and struck the guidewire of a utility pole.
The 18-year-old driver was subsequently charged with possessing drugs, methamphetamines, and with impaired driving.
An OPP drug recognition expert assisted in the investigation.
