‘Ottawa’ Wednesday’s Overcast Skies Should Clear, Heading Towards a Possible Golf Friday
It’s looking pretty glum out there for Wednesday, but the outlook is better as the week progresses, particularly for golfers.
For Wednesday, Environment Canada is forecasting 9 C under mainly cloudy skies with a 40-per-cent chance of showers, clearing fog patches and southwest wind at 20 km/h gusting to 40.
The risk of showers continues into Wednesday evening with a low of zero.
The skies start clearing early Thursday morning with a high of 13 C and low of 1 C.
Those who observe Good Friday will head to church under sunny skies with a balmy temperature of 14 C.
Those who mark Golf Friday will rejoice, too, at the respite from the rain – Stonebridge Golf Club, which has nine holes open Wednesday and Thursday, will open the full 18-hole course.
After a sunny Friday, the clouds are forecast to roll back in overnight with a low of 4 C.
