Quebec Nationalists exploit COVID-19 for separatist hidden agenda
Ottawa CTV reports that Quebec police have turned away hundreds of Ontario motorists at the Gatineau-Ottawa border in the first two days of new measures to limit non-essential travel in Quebec. At the same time various reports suggest that Quebec has become the new epicentre of COVID-19. So, it’s safe to say that these actions have nothing to do with public health concerns.
It is apparent that Quebec nationalists are using the COVID public health crisis to treat Quebec’s provincial boundaries as quasi-national ones.
Quebec police departments have no constitutional authority to block Canadians from entering into the province of Quebec without any Federal Emergency Act powers.
In order words, the actions of these Quebec police departments are little more than a separatist ploy that Canadians need to stop in their tracks.
Gatineau Police and the Surete du Quebec set up random, roadside checkpoints at the interprovincial bridges along the Ontario-Quebec border in the national capital region. Motorists were greeted by police on the Portage Bridge and the Macdonald-Cartier Bridge.
You can tell the actions of the Quebec police departments are entirely political because none of the police officers are wearing any COVID-19 protective gear.
The Quebec police are not acting in behalf of any public health concerns. Rather, it is apparent that Quebec police department are acting in behalf of a Deep State of Quebec separatists embedded in the Québec public service and body politic.
