No time for Ottawa RedBlacks to dwell on loss
There’s one main benefit to an insane schedule that sees the RedBlacks play three games in 12 days.
They have no extra time to dwell on Saturday’s disappointing 35-26 loss to the Toronto Argonauts. After a Sunday off to recover from the first of four-straight home games, the RedBlacks will just have three practice days to prepare for the Montreal Alouettes on Thursday.
Though quarterback Henry Burris — who completed 27 of 38 passes for 313 yards, two touchdowns and was picked off once — commended the Argonauts for outplaying the RedBlacks, for wanting it more, there was a definite feeling in the locker room
post-game that Saturday’s was a winnable game that got away.
