Vets lead 67’s to first win of season
It would appear the coach’s message got through to the Ottawa 67’s.
Less than a week after Jeff Brown called out his entire team in an ugly 4-0 loss to Barrie, the 67’s turned in a more spirited effort in a 5-1 win over the Hamilton Bulldogs to win their first game of the season at TD Place on Friday.
Brown was particularly critical of his veteran players after the Barrie game and the criticism seemed to light a fire under that group, particularly the overage trio of Sam Studnicka, Evan de Haan and Nevin Guy.
