‘Ottawa’ Fury FC Looks to Cash in Versus Minnesota United
It’s not just the comfort and convenience of waking up in their own beds and going to their home stadium for a Saturday game, it’s not having to worry about a 12-hour bus ride, not having to deal with the routine changes that a road trip brings.
Winless in four road trips and coming into its first home game of the North American Soccer League season last Saturday, Fury FC had the legs and the spark that coach Paul Dalglish has been looking for. The resulting 2-0 win over Miami FC was the icing on the cake.
So going into Saturday, with second-place Minnesota United FC in town, Dalglish isn’t intimidated or worried. He says his lads are up for the challenge. Maybe Ottawa really is home sweet home.
