‘Ottawa’ Ottawa Fury FC looks to snap winless skid in Puerto Rico
Last season, Ottawa Fury FC made it all the way to the North American Soccer League championship game as everything fell in its favour during the fall season.
The 2016 campaign hasn’t been as fortunate for the third-year Fury, but with three straight draws to boast about, things may be starting to turn Ottawa’s way, especially when you look at the numbers.
“When you’ve got 12 available outfield players for much of the season, you have to adjust your expectations as a coach,” Paul Dalglish said of the ow number of participants this year due to injury,
“It’s not so much that you don’t have any subs to play, but your training sessions are being done with 12 players so it’s very difficult to work on things as a team when you don’t have a team to play against in training.”
